The Philosophy

Digital Discovery is a boutique advisory practice specialising in digital growth strategy, data analytics & infrastructure, and digital due diligence.

The practice was founded on a straightforward premise: digital strategy should be held to the same commercial standards as any other business investment. We approach every engagement with the analytical rigour of management consulting and private equity, combined with deep operational expertise in digital execution.

Digital Discovery is intentionally small. We take on a limited number of engagements to ensure each receives the attention and senior focus it deserves.

The Founder

Deborah Kay read Economics at Cambridge University on a Singapore Public Service Commission scholarship, graduating second in her class with First Class Honours.

She spent 8+ years at Bain & Company across the Singapore, Tokyo, London and New York offices, advising Fortune 500 clients on strategy across telecommunications, consumer products, retail and private equity.

After Bain, Deborah spent 5+ years in private equity—first at GIC managing European and Middle Eastern fund investments, then at Partners Capital, a $20B multi-asset investment office, where she was responsible for real estate investments and ran an $800M private equity real estate fund.

She founded Digital Discovery in 2014 to bring the rigour of consulting and private equity to digital strategy.
